Core De Force Review and 30 Day Results

I was not sure what to think of this program at first! I had not done any mixed martial arts EVER and that seemed to be what I was in for.  Other then some Kempo in P90X that's about all the experience I had!

I have to admit I was worried I would become frustrated and not be able follow the moves.  I was so WRONG!! After 30 days I really did transform my body and I felt like every day was a challenge I could meet! I looked forward to the workouts and I knew there was a way to modify the moves so I could make it thru every workout.

I also am not THAT coordinated at all. I had a definite fear that the moves would frustrate me as other programs had in the past. This was different! You can go at your own pace and you can take your time.


WHAT IS CORE DE FORCE?

CORE DE FORCE is an explosive mixed martial arts-inspired total body workout designed by Beachbody Super Trainers Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews to blast fat and carve your waist in just 30 days - with NO equipment. I know I have many clients that travel for work and they still want to get a serious sweat in. That can be hard from a hotel room. But not with this program!



Test group members have commented that they were concerned about losing muscle, or that it would not challenge them. Afterwards they could not believe the transformation. Because its a body weight based workout you not only sweat but you maintain and build lean muscle. You can expect the same results! All while sweating to MMA Style Kick ASS workouts and using basic moves.

Nutrition

This program comes with a complete nutrition plan based on a very successful portion control system.

With that said you will not receive the containers unless you want them or purchase the Deluxe Kit. The nutrition plan is really 80%of your results but this plan makes it easy to track what you need.

And I say "track what you need" because so many of us do not get enough protein or complex carbohydrates (veggies). So without weighing food it gives you a great visual of how you should eat at each meal. It does so with these great containers. Based on your baseline starting weight you calculate very simply how many containers you get per day of each color.


I share shopping tips and meal plans for the week so every Challenger is set up for success moving into the program. We usually keep it pretty simple to start so you don't get overwhelmed and choose from the approved foods lists, food you enjoy. That is KEY! If you don't enjoy it, you won't stick to it PERIOD.

WHAT YOU CAME FOR: RESULTS

Ron's Results My husband Ron has struggled to complete a program for quite some time. He also has some knee and hip issues. Notably he has had both his knees cleaned up by trimming torn meniscus.

He had some concerns with the idea of an MMA style program since he didn't want to reverse his recovery. He completely enjoyed this program start to finish! OK so "Completely" may be a stretch - the early morning workouts were a challenge for him.  It reminded him of P90X, the moves are basic and he felt like it was great on his knees and hips.  It doubled his flexibility.

Ron gained a solid inch on EACH thigh which was AMAZING!! He has had injury and building muscle with other programs that use weights!!

He had significant muscle GROWTH.  5.5 weight gain, 1.5" gain to his chest and 1" on each thigh and gained 1/4" on each biceps yet LOST 1/2 inch from his waist! Just AWESOME!

Ron felt he was able to gain muscle post his Country Heat Results HERE. He was happy to rip weight off but wanted to build back muscle and he did BOTH here!
Ron reported that hands down, the accountability in the Challenge Group is what kept him going for the 30 days as well as working out with me every morning at 5AM.

 The app would remind him if he didn't get his workout in and he really wanted to check the box every day! Seems so simple. But easy to do is also easy NOT to do too! There were days when posting in the group was the EXTRA motivation he needed!

You can not only see his transformation in the pictures but he also said he felt back on track and a great sense of accomplishment because he completed the program.

The 30 minutes seemed to fly by and he worked up a serious sweat. His FAVORITE meal? The Savory Turkey & Sweet Potato Hash! Eating clean while doing Core de Force doesn't mean eating tasteless boring meals.

It means fueling your body right and staying on track.  The hardest part can be getting all the food in, learning to pack it and not forgetting those snacks.

Ron has to be at work at 7am so this was critical to his success!

PLANNING IS EVERYTHING!

But you can learn it and do it, it makes it easier when you live with your Coach, but even if you don't, there are reasonable ways to make all the programs work for you!


I'm so surprised at my results. Because even though I experienced a weight GAIN that was MUSCLE gain!! My core strength was off the charts and I really did gain flexibility too.  You can see in the photos below that even though I GAINED, I lost inches too and tightened up all around!

Toss the SCALE ladies- it does NOT tell the whole story!

I gained 3.5 lbs-- BUT 3.47 lbs of that was MUSCLE gain!! 1/2 Inch on each biceps - which as been a hard part for me!! I lost 1/2 Inch on each thigh which was AMAZING!  I gained 1/4 Inch on my waist BUT my back?? Totally built muscle and serious core strength!

My clothes fit GREAT - so this is further proof that the scale doesn't tell the whole story at all!! You trade off body mass, losing fat, gaining muscle and never picked up a weight. I also am pretty confident I could stand my ground in a street fight! (LOL j/k) #NotReally

Im beyond excited to see what the next 30 days does- because this has definitely lit a fire in me again- its an awesome challenge! One that I met and exceeded my expectations!


I am so SOLD on this program I'm moving into the second round thru December with the Deluxe calendar! I want to keep going into the next 30 days!

What to Wear?! Why is it so Hard? Holiday Problem #485

We have all been there, and I've been there PLENTY of times.  In the dressing room totally devastated, looking at the clothes and trying to be strategic about what I'm going to wear to showcase my best assets and HIDE all the flaws. 
  
I will say over the years my cousin and I have had a good laugh in some dressing rooms trying to shoe horn ourselves into some fashions and not getting the zipper up.  As hilarious as those sessions were, it sure was nicer when it was 80% of the clothes looked nice and 20% were fun.  But truthfully it was rarely those odds!  I would leave the store and deep down I was feeling disappointed and really upset with myself.  WHY couldn't I get it and figure this out.  Why did  I have to dress to HIDE anything?   I would always find something, but I surely wasn't feeling as FABULOUS as I wanted to.  Many times I just avoided shopping all together because why torture myself like that?

Listen up ladies- these are the straight facts.  And I know it because I lived it and I don't want you to struggle and feel that sinking feeling like I did after my shopping trip. 


FACT #1: Most off the rack clothes won't fit right.  PERIOD This is a fashion truth.  You need to budget for clothes and budget for a good tailor most times to get them to fit your body as they should!  Short, curvy  narrow, wide, we aren't built like a mannequin.  Even with weigh loss, you are CUSTOM baby!!  So don't obsess about the size number.  Just like the scale that can leave you with a false sense of failure.  How does it fit?  How does it look?  Does it fit you well at your widest point?  The rest can be altered!  Before you remove those tags consult with a tailor, you wan to feel your best and if it fits right in the right places, it will show in your attitude!


FACT #2: The Holidays can be the most fun and STRESSFUL time of the year!  all that stress tends to make people indulge more (emotional eating).  From family, financial etc… it is SO hard to find balance this time of year.  It is a vicious cycle, your stressed, you make poor choices, you become more depressed and so on and so on!  The difference is having a plan of how to avoid the cycle so you can enjoy the season!


FACT #3: It's NOT hopeless!  You have time to turn things around and start something positive before New Years resolution time!  You CAN enjoy the Holidays and the parties and stay on track while avoiding a 5-10 lb weight gain!   You can do it in a simplified way with full support!  Let me show you how you can meet your goals.  No it's not going to be overnight but in 30 days, you will be so much closer to your goal and see results where you haven't in years.  I promise you that!  As little as 30 minutes of exercise per day can reduce stress, keep you on track and help you not only breeze through the season, but come out the other end BETTER then when you started!  What a GIFT to give yourself!

YOU are worth the effort.  And sooner than you think, you can walk into that dressing room with confidence and end up pleasantly surprised instead of feeling like a bad joke!

I certainly felt fabulous in this family picture below.  However, I was corseted into that dress and if it had a button and God forbid it popped off, someone might have lost an eye!

Post Halloween Detox

So did all those Treats get to you?? I know I have little resistance but over the years I have discovered that feeling better beats all the Fun Size candy!

So how do you recover after a night or..... ahem.... WEEK of indulging on Trick or Treat candy??

1. PUT THE CANDY DOWN!

Get that shizz outta yo house! Let the kids pick what they want but either donate or trash it baby! Listen its not doing them any favors either so do what you must to get rid of it.  Hey I know some parents that pay for their kids candy by the pound.  Whatever it takes! I know having it around doesn't help!

2. GUZZLE THE H2O

How do you rid your self of that sugar hangover? Pound the water!! You need to hydrate to fill yourself up and clear your head.  All that fuzzzy headedness comes from the sugar rush and crash.  If you continue your IV drip of sugar your just never gonna get back to normal.

Drink 1/2 your body weight in ouces of water per day minimum.  You'll start to feel more like yourself in no time!

3. SWEAT!

Get moving, walk, do a workout on DVD (hint, hint) you need to get the blood pumping too and get back to a routine or start one to burn off all those extra FUN SIZED calories!! 30 minutes of workouts per day to get that metabolism PUMPING! 4. EAT! 

Yep, eat.  6 small thoughtful meals per day! You need quality, dense whole food nutrition.  What the heck is that? Start with an apple! Yep, an apple! Something with nutrient value and how about some nuts.  Toss a salad in there if your gonna get crazy, but it should be colorful.  And not M&M colorful, fruits and veggie colorful.  Basically get back to eating regular small meals to level out that blood sugar and you wont CRAVE sugar as much!


5. Refresh!

Sometimes those Sugar cravings are just too hard to put Pandora back in the box! So a quick 3 Day Refresh may be what you need to CRUSH those cravings and get back on track fast!!
So now is your time to shine! Take control of your health and fitness now and imagine where you can be in just 30 days or 60 days! There is time to really turn things around before the holiday gets in full swing! Honestly, I always say that this time year it’s not about depriving yourself of everything you enjoy but it’s about living a balanced life! 80-20 rule is how we spend the holiday season!
